''Father and Daughter'' is a Paul Simon song, originally released as a single. It is a notable addition to the Simon anthology mainly because the song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song. It was written for the animated family film ''The Wild Thornberrys Movie'' and released in 2002. The song also appeared on the movie soundtrack album, and a different mix of the same performance was used for Simon's 2006 release, ''Surprise'', and the 2007 best-of compilation, ''The Essential Paul Simon''. The song is about a father's love for his daughter, told from his point of view. In the song, he talks about how he has always been there for her over the years and that no matter what life has in store, there will never be a father who loves his daughter more than he does. The music video for the song was directed by Wayne Isham, and features Simon performing the song in a child's bedroom, intercut with two different kinds of clips; clips from ''The Wild Thornberrys Movie'' and live action clips showing different wild animals. ==Track listing== #"Father and Daughter" #"Father and Daughter" (instrumental) #"Father and Daughter" (video) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Father and Daughter」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
